09.19. HONGKONG-SWATOW TRADE AGREEMENT Canton: A trade agreement between Hongkong and Swatow for the 1943/44 fiscal year was concluded here on 14th April to take effect 1st May. Commodities to be exported from Hongkong to Swatow under the new agreement will include machinery, rubber products, cotton cloth, cement tobacco, liquor and mineral oil. From Swatow paper products, dried fish, vegetables Lol. fruits etc, will be exported to Hongkong.
